Linda Allen has not taken any personal time off ever since Mr. Montesano fell in his apartment three months ago. Linda takes the time to sit and talk with Vincent since he explains, “I don’t have many friends. My son in New York is very sick and cannot come to visit me. It is nice to have people to talk with.” He then explained how nice it was that we all came out to celebrate his very special day.

While we were there, we sang the Happy Birthday song to Mr. Montesano. While eating cake, Linda told us some enchanting stories that occurred over the past nine years with her consumer.

I came to really admire Linda Allen for her hard work and dedication. As a homecare provider myself, Linda reminded me of the same diligence that I use to take care of my mother. Not only do I admire Mr. Montesano, but I also consider him a fellow brother and friend. It was such an uplifting experience to spend time with Mr. Montesano on his 99th birthday.
