Things were different this time

Jursidiction FightThings were different this time at the jurisdictional hearings. I noticed as soon as I arrived on the grounds of the Marriott Hotel in Manhattan Beach.

The place was swarming with United Health Care members holding picket signs, yelling chants and handing out flyers.  I had driven myself, so I was looking for our members.

Who Really Cares

On July 14, 2008, I attended the Jurisdictional Hearings in Manhattan Beach, CA.  While I was having breakfast, I met Ms. Jerry Galbreth and daughter Val Hale, who is her care provider.  It has been said, there is no greater love than that of a mother for her child; it was shown to me that actually there is no greater love than that of a child for its mother.
