The Results are In!

We have great news! On Thursday (Dec 11th), the advisory vote ballots were counted and our voice was heard! Option A was the clear choice of long term care workers throughout California.

Our support for Option A sends a clear message that long term care workers want to unite into a single statewide union – 230,000 members strong – that will give us the strength necessary to save California homecare and protect nursing home funding.

Now that they have received our overwhelming recommendation for Option A, the International Executive Board will be meeting in early January as they make the final decision on how we will be organized.
